An AI note taker for every meeting, on every Apple device

Quiet Scribe captures the meeting, writes the minutes and helps you act on them, all on your own devices. Every feature on this page exists in the current app; where a feature needs a specific device or system version, it says so.

Capture

Record wherever the meeting happens.

Record from Apple Watch

Start recording from your wrist, add markers and dictated notes, and watch the mic level. The watch records even without your iPhone nearby and sends the audio to your iPhone when it's back in range; the iPhone transcribes it and writes the minutes.

Video calls on Mac

For Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or FaceTime, Quiet Scribe records your microphone and the system audio in separate tracks, so both sides of the conversation are captured. It records audio only, never your screen, and needs no virtual audio drivers.

Markers for key moments

Tag Important, Task, Decision, Question and Follow-up moments, or add a quick note while you record on Mac, iPhone or Apple Watch. Markers appear in the transcript and guide the AI.

Automatic language

Choose a language or let Quiet Scribe detect whether the meeting is in English or Spanish before transcribing. Regional variants such as Spanish (Spain) or English (UK) are supported, and a personal vocabulary helps with names and terms.

Understand

Turn hours of talk into a clear record.

Minutes, summary, tasks and decisions

Each meeting gets a short summary, structured minutes by topic, action items with owner and due date when they were said, decisions with their rationale, follow-ups and a timeline. Everything is editable.

Meeting intelligence

See open questions, risks, people mentioned and key quotes. Tap any moment on the timeline to jump to it in the audio, and find related meetings where the same topic came up.

Speaker separation

Quiet Scribe estimates how many people spoke and labels them as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on, on your device. Rename a speaker once and the name applies to the whole meeting. On Mac, your microphone and the call audio are also kept apart as You and Others.

Ask one meeting or all of them

Ask questions like “What did we decide?” or “Which tasks are mine?” about a single meeting or across all your meetings. Answers are generated on your device and cite the moments they come from.

Photos and documents in the minutes

Add a photo of a whiteboard, slide or document, or attach a PDF, text, Markdown or RTF file. The text is recognized on your device and used as reference for the minutes. The image itself stays on your device.

On-device translation

Translate the summary, minutes, tasks, decisions, follow-ups, timeline and transcript with Apple's Translation framework, on your device. You can also export the PDF translated.

Act

Move what was agreed into the tools you already use.

Calendar and Reminders

See upcoming meetings from your calendar and link recordings to them. When you ask, Quiet Scribe adds follow-ups to Calendar and tasks to Reminders.

Share and export

Export a PDF of the minutes (A4 or Letter, with or without the transcript), copy the meeting as Markdown text, send it by email or use the share sheet. On iPhone you can also share the audio as an .m4a file.

Live Activity

On iPhone, a recording in progress shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with the timer and quick controls.

Siri and Shortcuts

Start or stop a recording, mark an important moment, ask your meetings, open a meeting or share its tasks with Siri and the Shortcuts app on iPhone. On Apple Watch Ultra you can assign recording to the Action button.

Widgets and complications

A Next meeting widget and a Record button for the Home Screen and Lock Screen on iPhone, plus Record and Next meeting complications on Apple Watch.

Everywhere

One app across your Apple devices.

iPhone, iPad, iPhone Duo and Mac

Native apps for iPhone, iPad (resizable windows and Split View) and Mac with Apple Silicon. On the foldable iPhone Duo, the layout places one panel on each side of the fold.

Private iCloud sync

Meetings, transcripts and minutes sync between your devices through your private iCloud database. Audio files are not synced; they stay on the device that recorded them.

Requires iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26 or watchOS 26 or later. AI minutes, Ask and meeting intelligence need a device that supports Apple Intelligence with it turned on; without it, Quiet Scribe still records and transcribes.
